ITINERARY

 

Day 1 BOSTON, MASSACUSETTS

Arrive in Boston. Guests take shuttle from Boston Airport to Holiday Inn Express Hotel Boston.

Day 2 PLYMOUTH – MAYFLOWER - QUINCY

Our tour begins in Boston, Massachusetts. We travel first to Plymouth Plantation to learn about the Pilgrim settlement there, including a tour of the Mayflower. Next we will remember  the 2nd US President on the John Adams trolley tour.

Day 3 USS CONSTITUTION MUSEUM – BUNKER HILL – DORCHESTER HEIGHTS – TEA PARTY MUSEUM

We visit the USS Constitution Museum as well as Bunker Hill and Dorchester Heights, two significant Revolutionary way battle sites. We'll also experience a re-enactment of the Boston Tea Party before departing for New Jersey.

Day 4 STATUE OF LIBERTY – FEDERAL HALL – NY STOCK EXCHANGE – ST. PAULS – EMPIRE STATE BUILDING – TIMES SQUARE – GROUND ZERO

In New York City we'll visit Federal Hall where Washington took the oath of office, the New York Stock exchange and St. Paul's Chapel. We'll take the Statue of Liberty cruise; see the Empire State Building, Ground Zero and Times Square. That evening you will have the opportunity to meet with author, Jonathan Cahn.

Day 5 INDEPENDENCE HALL – LIBERTY HALL – CHRIST CHURCH – GETTYSBURG

In Philadelphia we will visit Independence Hall and see the Liberty Bell. We'll see Christ Church and the home of Betsy Ross. From there we will travel to Gettysburg to walk the fields of this historic Civil War site and remember the incredible events that took place here.

Day 6 MONACACY BATTLEFIELD – MR VERTON – HOTEL MONACO

In Virginia we will visit the Monacacy Battlefield and enjoy an afternoon at Mount Vernon touring the estate, museum and gardens. We stay the night at the beautiful Hotel Monaco in Alexandria, Virginia.

Day 7 FORD’S THEATRE – NATIONAL MALL – CAPITOL TOUR – WHITE HOUSE AND MONUMENTS TOUR

We'll consider the sacrifice of President Abraham Lincoln as we visit Ford's Theatre in Washington DC as well the memorial to him at the National Mall. We'll have time to visit the Smithsonian museums as well as tour the other monuments and war memorials in Washington DC returning again to the Hotel Monaco.

Day 8 DEPART REGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT, ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA

Departures today will be from Regan Airport. Optional morning church services for afternoon flights.
