Customer Reviews

We went to the Dominican republic with legacy tours this summer. It was one of the best trips our family has ever been on. We got to see and do some things that we never would have been able to do as regular tourists. Mark and Bailey were great at communicating the schedule. We didn't have to worry about food preparation or shopping for it. It was fun meeting and traveling with other members of the group. The devotionals at night were a great way to end the day. When I travel, I don't like to feel like I'm just one of the mass of tourists who all do the same things. With legacy it made for a very unique experience. We interacted with the locals on a level that most never get to do.

We went on the Legacy Tours Humanitarian trip with our son Andrew this last summer to the Dominican Republic. It was a fantastic experience. John Bytheway was on the trip and joined us at meals and many of the service projects and activities. John did some excellent devotionals each night and gospel power point presentations that were very insightful, moving and entertaining. Mark our tour guide was great. He really made sure everyone was involved and having a great experience. The resort we stayed had had great food and a lot of variety. Carlos was one of our native guides and was very friendly and caring and helped with the service projects. We assisted at a chocolate factory, helped build water filters and helped with laying concrete in a home. Most of the service projects were done in the morning and then in the afternoon we would do other activities like swimming, basketball, soccer, play in the ocean, kite flying, etc. It was a great experience for our son Andrew who was preparing for a mission to Brazil and he got to experience a country similar to his mission in many ways. Thank you Legacy Tours and Travel for a great experience!
