Itinerary

Day 1

Depart USA for Everything Egypt Tour

On our Everything Egypt Tour you will learn about Egyptian mysteries. Many of these mysteries mirror some of what we believe today. You will love making this journey for our Everything Egypt Tour.

Day 2

Arrival Cairo 

Arrive at the Cairo International airport. We will go through visa and customs procedures, before transferring to our hotel. Check-in for dinner and overnight

Day 3

Cairo

Free day to rest, acclimate to the time change, explore Cairo and prepare for your Everything Egypt Tour.

Day 4

3 great pyramids and 3 smaller pyramids Giza Egypt

We travel to ancient Egypt with a full day of touring to the wonders of the ancient world,
some of which date back to 1000+ years prior to Abraham. We spend time at one of the seven wonders of the world- the pyramids. Cheops, with an original height of 496 feet, is the most colossal pyramid ever built. Stop by a papyrus factory before we do a panoramic view of Cairo including a visit to the Egyptian museum. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 5

Luxor - Valley of the Kings

Breakfast and transfer to the airport for our 55 minutes flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, we will cross to the west bank where we will visit the valley of the kings, the temple of Hatshepsut and the colossi of Memnon. Check-in at hotel to relax a bit. Pm we will visit the temple of Luxor while illuminated. stroll through the city corniche. back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Denderah and Abydos

Breakfast. drive to Denderah and Abydos. Return back to Luxor. Embarkation on Blue Shadow Cruise ship for dinner and overnight.

Day 7

Karnak

Breakfast. visit the temples of Karnak before we return back to our ship for sailing to Edfu via Esna lock. Lunch on board while sailing and enjoying the beautiful intact scenery. Dinner and overnight in Edfu.

Day 8

River Cruise - Edfu

Breakfast. Visit to the temple of Edfu by a horse-carriage. Continue sailing to Kom Umbo, lunch on board. Arrival Kom Umbo. Visit to the beautiful temple dedicated to the two shared Gods Sobek and Harories. Back to our ship and sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 9

Abu Simbel - Aswan Dam

Breakfast box and then driving throught the beautiful Nubian desert to the city of Abu Simbel. After a breath-taking view of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, Neferatri and Rameses that were saved by the UNESCO, we will drive back to Aswan… Lunch on board. Then a visit to the temple of Phiale and the High Dam. Flight back to Cairo for dinner and overnight.

Day 10

Edfu - Kom Umbo - Aswan

Breakfast and enjoy a short ride to Memphis , Founded around 3,100 BC, Memphis is the legendary
city of Menes, the King who united Upper and Lower Egypt. From a Biblical perspective, Memphis is
most likely where Abraham lied to Pharaoh about his wife Sarah being his sister and where Joseph served as second in command. While in Memphis we will view a very large and well-preserved statue of Ramses II. Next is Sakkara, which is one of the most extensive archaeological sites in Egypt! Sakkara is dominated by the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, dating back to 2700 BC. It is one of the oldest stone structures in the world! Enjoy a stop to see how local Egyptian carpets are made before a short drive to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Bruce Porter

Bruce H. Porter has been traveling throughout the world since the mid-1970s. He served his mission in England and has done specialized research on scripture and ancient documents and hosting and guiding groups and tours through Europe, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean world. Having worked on Church History projects in the United States, England, and
Europe, he has been a guide and host in providing scripturally based tours of the Ancient World as well as Church History. He has worked in the major museums in Europe doing research that led him into ancient tombs, and sacred texts. 

Brother Porter earned his bachelor’s degree in Ancient Near Eastern Studies from BYU and went on to receive his master’s degree in Middle East Studies with an emphasis in Semitic
languages and Ancient Religions.  His Graduate Work is in the field of the History of Religions, with an emphasis in Egyptian religion and textual 
Having studied in Israel and the Middle-East.

Brother Porter has done specialized scriptural research at the major museums of Europe. He has taught in the Seminary and Institute programs of the Church. He is a sought after lecturer, teacher, speaker, and guide.
