Itinerary
Day 1

Depart USA for Everything Egypt Tour
On our Everything Egypt Tour you will learn about ancient Egyptian history, religion and mysteries. Many of these mysteries mirror some of what we believe today. You will love making this journey for our Everything Egypt Tour. Flights will depart from the US today.
Day 2

Arrival Cairo
Arrive at the Cairo International airport. We will go through visa and customs procedures, before transferring to our hotel. Check-in for dinner and overnight
Day 3

Giza Plateau - Cairo Museum
We travel to ancient Egypt with a full day of touring to the wonders of the ancient world, some of which date back to 1000+ years prior to Abraham. We spend time at one of the seven wonders of the world- the pyramids. Cheops, with an original height of 496 feet, is the most colossal pyramid ever built. Stop by a papyrus factory before we do a panoramic view of Cairo including a visit to the Egyptian museum. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4

Luxor - Valley of the Kings
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for our 55 minute flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, we will cross to the west bank where we will visit the valley of the kings, the temple of Hatshepsut and the colossi of Memnon. Check-in at hotel to relax a bit. In the evening we will visit the temple of Luxor while illuminated, stroll through the city corniche, returning back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5

Denderah - Abydos - Luxor
Today we will visit two lesser known temples of Denderah and Abydos. We return to Luxor to board our cruise ship, the Blue Shadow, to begin our 3 day cruise of the Nile.
Day 6

Edfu - Esna Locks - Cruising
We begin with breakfast on board the ship before visiting the temple of Edfu by a horse-carriage. We continue sailing to Kom Umbo, lunch on board while sailing and enjoying the beautiful Nile river scenery. We will then visit to the beautiful temple at Kom Umbo dedicated to the two shared Gods Sobek and Harories. Back to our ship and sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7

Abu Simbel - Aswan - Temple of Philae
We have an early morning departure, so we will take a breakfast box and then drive through the beautiful Nubian desert to the city of Abu Simbel. After a breath-taking view of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, Neferatri and Rameses that were saved by the UNESCO, we will drive back to Aswan. Then a visit to the temple of Phiale, including the evening light show and the High Dam.
Day 8

Aswan Dam - Temple of Philae
Today we will visit Elephantine Island before sailing to the Island of Philae. The Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis was originally built on Elephantine Island but it had to be moved when the dam was built. There is also archeological evidence for a Jewish refugee settlement that we will see. We will overnight in Aswan.
Day 9

Aswan Dam - Flight to Cairo
Flight back to Cairo for dinner and overnight.
Day 10

Memphis - Sakkara
Breakfast and enjoy a short ride to Memphis , Founded around 3,100 BC, Memphis is the legendary city of Menes, the King who united Upper and Lower Egypt. From a Biblical perspective, Memphis is most likely where Abraham lied to Pharaoh about his wife Sarah being his sister and where Joseph served as second in command. While in Memphis we will view a very large and well-preserved statue of Ramses II. Next is Sakkara, which is one of the most extensive archaeological sites in Egypt! Sakkara is dominated by the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, dating back to 2700 BC. It is one of the oldest stone structures in the world! Enjoy a stop to see how local Egyptian carpets are made before a short drive to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 11

Depart Cairo to return home
We say goodbye to the ancient land of the Pharaohs today as we return home.

Rod Meldrum
Rod L. Meldrum is a researcher, best-selling LDS author, and international lecturer on the validity of the Book of Mormon with an emphasis on its scriptural and physical evidences. His book titled, “Exploring the Book of Mormon in America’s Heartland” is the #1 LDS Book about Book of Mormon geography with over 40,000 printed. He began guiding this Book of Mormon Chronology Tour in 2018.

Rod has also written a book titled “Prophecies and Promises; The Book of Mormon and the USA.”
This book outlines the 36 Prophecies and Promises that clearly identify
the United States as the location of the ‘Promised Land’ of the
Latter-days. It has been called a “stunning” new insight on geography
research and provides historical evidence that documents containing
Joseph Smith’s words, writings, and actions were consistent with the
prophecies & promises of the Book of Mormon. He also served for
seven years as the senior scientific researcher on the book titled, “Universal Model”
by Dean Sessions, a natural sciences textbook. The first volume of over
800 pages was just printed in 2017 and volume two will be printed in
2018, with volume three to follow. It’s over 2,500 pages of “New
Millennial Science.”
Researcher
He began his study of issues surrounding the controversy over DNA and the Book of Mormon in 2003 which led to a study of the origins of proposed geographical settings of the Book of Mormon. In addition, he has spent years of intensive study of the Book of Mormon itself and the historical background and documents associated with it. He is passionate about sharing his research of the Book of Mormon Chronology with others.
Presenter
Mr. Meldrum has given several hundred presentations across the United States, Canada and internationally and has shared his research and findings in support of the Book of Mormon and the gospel of Jesus Christ with hundreds of thousands of members and non-members alike. Mr. Meldrum has been conducting tours to the Heartland of America since 2010, educating guests at museums, sacred native American sites, and other archaeological sites dating to the time period of the Book of Mormon Chronology.

He founded his organization, The FIRM Foundation (Foundation for Indigenous Research and Mormonism), in 2008 which today comprises ten boards with more than 200 board members and over 40,000 LDS newsletter recipients. The FIRM Foundation sponsors two International Book of Mormon Evidence Expos and Conferences annually with additional regional conferences and events throughout the country and around the world bringing together dozens of the top LDS speakers for thousands of Latter-day Saints.

He and his wife, Tonya, are the parents of four children. He is a fifth-generation member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served a mission in Milan, Italy, has served faithfully in many church leadership callings, and currently lives in Provo, Utah.
