This day starts early, well before the Sun comes up! We’ll head to Mather Point along the beautiful South Rim of the Grand Canyon to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the canyon. This is always an incredible moment as the Canyon comes into view and the shadows depart the deep ravines! After a morning of discovery, we’ll have authentic Navajo Tacos at the Trading Post at Tanner’s Crossing before heading to the historic Sunset Crater Volcano. Along the way we’ll also visit the ruins of the Anasazi people who lived there long ago. Depending on weather, we sometimes have an opportunity to view the night sky through a telescope after checking into our Flagstaff hotel!
